settling

yesterday i ate some bread in front of the pompidou at lunch time. after i was done eating the bread i drank some tap water out of an orange-carrot juice bottle that i washed out the night before, and after that i drew people taking naps in the pompidou courtyard.

today, it was really nice out, about 68 degrees and sunny, so i walked from french class to the drawing studio, which is about a 35 minute walk (pere lachaise - republique.) on the way home from drawing, i bought a pineapple for two euros. when i got home i google searched "how do you cut a pineapple," and then i made pineapple fried rice with some leftover chicken from last night. it tasted pretty good actually. after dinner i finished my woodcuts for class tomorrow; they are replicas of some of my favorite egon schiele drawings.

my foot is falling asleep. i don't have french class tomorrow morning, so i am going to sleep until ten i think, and then make a nice breakfast. maybe i will make pancakes! i'm really good at making pancakes. when we had dinner with the president of mjlf and his family for rosh hashana, i made a deal with the oldest son that i would make him pancakes if he made me croissants and stuff. i wonder if we will actually do that. that would be pretty cool if we did.
